So I get back into town with some of these pics from Thailand. It's been 15 years since I last visited and things have changed. We mostly stayed in Bangkok city, where you'd have to be crazy to drive on the street.
My main plans were to check out the car scene, but we lacked transportation and time. But, I did get to check out my cousin-in-law's body shop. What he had in his garage made me scratch my head in wonderment. First in line, I see a Mercedes with an intercooler(ok, wow), then he pops the hood. A 1jz-gte sitting in the bay. Don't know if anybody else has seen something like this, but it was my first time. Across from this he has a built 200sx for drift, nice. And, in the corner I thought it was an old school Datsun with a 1jz, but no it's an 80's BMW.

My cousin's garage is help-funded by his Dad, who works for the government or something, just gives quotes all day and takes in the profit. Good for him.![]()
Apparently, the 2jz and 1jz engine is the latest craze for in Thailand. I could be wrong, but that's what I noticed. Anyhow, on to the pics.
