Hmmmm. So you have to make an appointment to call your friends and vice versa? What do you do, mail them a letter saying that you are going to call them at 4:35pm on Monday July 16, 2007? Later, QD.
Nah I usually make plans with them in texts, e-mail, IM, etc. Then I usually call to confirm like if I'm on my way to meet them or whatever.

Great QD, what would you do? If someone just called you up and started talking to you about their life and random stuff and you REALLY wanted to get off the phone because you're busy and have other stuff to do? Would you answer and politely tell them you'll call them later? Normally that's what I'd do but usually I don't have time to call them later. So what should I do? Answer, speak for a second, then tell them I got to go? Well, back in your day you didn't have this problem because you didn't have cellphones, if you were out doing stuff you weren't home to answer your phone.

Does that mean I still make the right choice? hell naw, lol.

If or when someone comes up to me out of the blue it DOES throws me off sometimes, it means I have to just wing the situation because I haven't planned it at all...I normally know what i'm going to say before i say it and have already thought about what responses i could possibly get for each thing I say, haha :-p Do i think too much? The more that happens the better you'll be at it, as everything it takes practice. Is there a way to practice quick wit? I always say it's not the situations you get yourself into but how you handle them. Get comfortable interacting with strangers that you've gone up to and you'll be loaded for those that come to you, no running off with your tail between your legs. Now go watch 40 year old virgin, the library scene is priceless.

It is ok to be reserved, there's plenty of others out there the same way...you'll change that if you want or feel the need to but opening yourself up too much or too quickly can have negative effects too. Gotta find that happy medium you're comfortable with.
exactally how i am. i have a bad habbit of not allowing things to happen. i always have a plan, a plan b, a plan c etc.

You know I was actually trying to give you a decent conversation instead of running straight into the ground, but if you want to go that route, trust me, I can do that. I'm not going to try to get you to see where you are a shitty(in that respect) person. You do what you do. If you and your friends are cool with how it works, then fine. That's no problem. There was cellphones back in my day. There were also these things called pagers. So fucking what. Later, QD.

Well I know people who complain about their cellphone invading their life, and how they don't like to be reached everywhere. I always tell them not to answer the phone if they don't want to...hell it has caller ID.
