Frank Thomas 499 home runs
So I have been following this guys baseball career since 94. He has one more homerun before 500!!!!!!! He hit a grand slam thursday,solo yesterday and a solo today. See I have over 200 of his baseballs cards, autograph baseball and poster so I look at that suff as stock.
How the fuck old is The Big Hurt now?

So babe ruth hit 714 HR in 8399 bats,
Hank aaron hit 755 HR in 12364 bats
So what that tells me is if babe ruth had 12k bats he would be in 800-900 hrs. Now barry bonds has 749 HRS in 9686 at bats but then again he had chemicals helping him.
BTW barry bonds is only 6 homers away from the all time record... ouch !

True yea it took hank arron 12k at bats to get where he was so i fyou REALLY think about it that wasnt a feat, when ppl close to him did 8k-9k at bats.
Like I said up top if babe ruth had 12k at bats he would be close to 900 home runs looking at the % homeruns vs at bats.

Barry bonds from what I know seems to be a all around player, it just sucks he got caught up in the female hormone crap that boosted his career. I wished ppl still collected basebal cards because I have his rookie.

Yea I have a box of frank thoma cards, over 200, with auto baseball and poster and a action figure. It was cool the fan that caught the ball today did a nice thing and gave it back to frankj. So he autographed a jersey,batt and ball for him. frank was never thought of as a roids player like the others and before he got hurt he was always consistent. Do they even make a beckett anymore?
