You won't get much. I just sold about 200 cards for $50 today to a card shop. Later, QD.

Don't care if I don't get much for them really. They take up space and I just need them gone.

    Baseball, Basketball cards mostly.

Sports cards aren't the hot commodity anymore. I had rookie cards(before yesterday) and about 10 years ago, they were each worth $40. As of yesterday, they are going for as high as $4/ea. Back in the 80's-early 90's, cards were masses marketed big time. The value has been declining every year. Your average card is only worth a nickel or dime. With so many other "distractions" out there, cards just aren't "it" anymore. Later, QD.

^^^that all depends though, the IT cards are still IT and worth more and more, it's just that "middle class" cards aren't worth that much anymore

No. What I said above applies. I talked with the guy for a while about it. Saturday, I talked with several shops over the phone and they were all saying the same thing. Now if you had a Ruth card or something, that's a different story. Later, QD.

I have a *signed* Jerry Rice rookie card in a frame that i got in 1994...it was $190 back when i bought it, and worth even more. Now it may be worth $50 idk. I say keep the cards until a possible second coming of them being popular again

Man your ight cards just arnt the thing anymore. In the mid 90s Frank Thomas was hot and I collected over 200 of his cards, auto baseball and poster. I hate to see wha tthey are worth now since he has been slumping, even though 6 more homeruns and he has 500. I also have a nolan ryan, roger clemens, micheal jordan, reggie miller, shaq and barry bonds rookie cards.

Ya know....I still need a place that buys cards :P

I don't really care if the market is slumping. 6 Boxes of cards in a closet take up so much room.
