    Default Linux?

    Anybody on here have a copy of preferably Red hat Linux? I just want to make a copy of it. I'm tired of XP its been giving me nothing but problems. I'd like to go with linux temporarily, Until i get enough cash put away and i'll just buy a Mac.

    Or know anywhere I can download it with out any issues. Last time i tried, it kept giving me a bunch of hassle.

    lots of places allow linux free downloads

    distrowatch.com will give you a lot of info

    If you want something simliar to RedHat download Fedora Core 6. RedHat sponsors the Fedora Project. My work laptop runs RHEL 4 and I have a home box on Fedora.

    I also work for RedHat. Before Fedora I just ran a live CD of Knoppix on a KDE environment. It was pretty good for what I needed it for.

    I orginally was trying to get Fedora. It kept giving me messages saying that I couldnt download it lol. I'll keep trying though. Thanks for the replies
