Almost had a TSI a friend of Hasan's was selling it was plumb color with black rims nice looking car. I had a B13 SER at the time and it was hard to leave it for a fullbody ride like a Conquest
My brother had a Red 88 TSI bought for $800 in SC brought it home and ran like a champ but besides the design i hate the engines.

Old tank out. I don't think the tank was the problem. It wasn't gross but it wasn't sparkly clean. A thorough cleaning would be all it needs. Probably gonna put it back up for sale.

Here's the problem without a doubt. Pickup was bent, pinched, and the tip was cut off with no in tank screen. SMDH

Took a minute to get the fuel back in the lines after cavitating so bad but now she fires up and runs like a champ. I smell like gasoline and I froze my ass off but it was a good night. Now it's on to the cooling...oil and water. Gotta love projects!

I'm still amazed your car made it out to Cumming and back home LOL - resilient cars I tell you.

Did you pick this up from someone in Villa Rica? I swear it looks exactly like one that used to be right by my house.

I live right across 20 from that guy. Good to see it finally getting some tlc, seemed like it hardly ever moved or was up on ramps about every other time I went by.

Thanks man, I am fixing a lot of his shortcuts and the person who owned it before him, their short cuts as well.

Fortunately for me, he didn't know how rare the car was that he owned.

    San Marino yellow
SHP package(8" fronts, 9" rears, factory adjustable suspension)
    Black leather
    5 spd
    Sunroof

Completely restored this is a rare car and will be very fun.

Thanks. My buddy just told me that when he pulls the SB350 out if his blazer I can get it for $100!!!

Can't beat that price so I will be selling all of my stuff to fund this project very soon!

Congrats on the car. Not so much a fan of the color but it looks pretty clean. My advice is don't swap it until it blows. Enjoy it for a while.

I regret starting the swap on my supra so much. I could have bought and popped 4+ JDM 7Ms for the amount of money I have put into this swap. Plus the car would have be running, as opposed to off the road for fucking 5 years. Don't know if you've done any swaps in the past, but for me it wound up being a shit load more time/money than I expected. Especially when you do it right and you're like shit, well I've got to replace this gasket, I've got to upgrade this, I need some custom piping and so on and so on and so on and so on.

Edit: Shit this is my first post in 3 months.

Lol ya no doubt, long time no see!!!

My motor is so sad right now, I can't even believe it is still driving lol. PO hacked it all up. I could dump all kinds of money in it or take that money and put it towards the 350 swap. The g54 is cool and all but terribly unreliable. I would swap a 350 and not hesitate to drive to California.

My car is not clean, pictures make it look that way. Lol

Lol I would love too but I can't beat a mild built 350sb for $100. I will be able to sell my motor/trans/accessories to fully fund the complete swap.
