I just picked up my first pre 80s car. I got my hand on a nice datsun roadster 2000. I picked it up last night, let me know what you guys think.

Great car. Keep it clean and stock.

damn where did you picked that up from and may I asked how much
hope to see it in person. We can always use another classic Japanese on the road.
Looks like it's in great shape, any rust, how does it run?

No rust, just some surface rust under the paint but ts a nice solid body. It ran when it was parked 11 years ago. only has 35k miles on it. I just got back from the parts store, im about to flush all the liquids and give her a full tune up. I can't wait to drive this car.
Update: Just cleaned the carbs and got her running great. I will post a video of it soon.
DAT SUN.
If it's running bring it out to the Mitty this weekend. There will likely be a couple of roadsters out there.

I was thinking about it, but I haven't got my tag and insurance yet. Plus I just want to go through everything one more time before I hit the road. What day is Mitty?
Cool little car. I'm usually all for motor swaps but with 35k original miles I'd almost feel bad pulling yhat motor.
Although I imagine the low mileage motor would sell for a pretty penny.
