    Default 1930 Model A Pickup

I'm a glutton for punishment, yet another project.

Got a smoking deal on it and a hairpin front end.

Gotta start somewhere. Plans are to use a Dodge Raider frame, toyota rear axle, Starion engine and trans, and RHD.

I have a 30 speedster. Let me know if you need some parts of help! Go jump on the HAMB (jalopyjournal.com) They are anti-ratrod, pro traditional hot rod. You will find more infor than ever there.

I don't know exactly what I'll need besides cowl and cab corner patch panels. A metal top is a must but all that is easy enough to find. Definitely need late spindles, pins, and brakes; have a lucky 7 axle, hair pins, and lowered spring that came with it. I plan to have it kind of ratty but a comfortable driver. Not traditional but not a piece of shit cobbled together, called a rat, and sold for a small fortune.

    More parts.
Hair pin front, need spindles and such. Have a set of supra calipers that would look good on the front.

Fuel tank from my 400HP GTE GS300 that my stepson totalled for me. Has twin Supra pumps inside, pretty sure one will do. Might use the LSD rear from it as well.

On a side note. The USDM Supra 2JZ Single and auto tranny from the GS300 are going into this:
    66 Rambler Classic wagon

It's currently getting new brakes all around at a friends shop then going straight from there to the paint shop.

But really, who gives a shit how much it's worth when finished? This thing is going to be cool on so many different levels. It's going to be a one off hot rod.

he's not doing it for the money, he's doing it for the pleasure of working and building something unique. I cant see the pictures as i'm at work, but i bet it is looking good.

And not to mention its going to be a BITCH to find some parts :/

This truck is gone but has been replaced with a 34 pickup body. A flash flood ruined a whole lot of stuff destined for this and other builds in progress. Will start a new thread with the proper year and description in the title.
