Went to visit an old friend last weekend, Juan C. (dragoncelica) and I'm still just mindblown by the stuff he's doing/has done.

He is just about one of the realest gearheads on here. He's out there actually doing it! The batmobile pictured below is going to have a near 4digit HP 2J powerplant, insane suspension, LCD panels/cameras, everything you'd image the real thing would have. Complete with propane afterburner and motorized cabin entry, this thing will be dope when it's done.

Yeah it's not a kit car, he's making a REAL batmobile!

Probably more real of a batmobile than any of the 'props' made for the movies. This thing is designed to be driven hard.

From paper to reality..... Crazy! Screw autoCAD

RARE PIECE OF HISTORY HERE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_T_engine#4T-GTE

^^^ The ridiculous powerplant for the batmobile... super fully built 2JZGTE + big turbo + insanely badass custom manifold

^^ Look at that manifold.... Dragoncelica made it

The engine bay looked straight-up OEM, pristine

Dragoncelica's trusty assistant

And its stuff like this that makes dragoncelica the shit:

Mad props go to gearheads like this doing their own thing, completely outside of the box. I've met very few people like this and have a tremendous amount of respect for their work. People like Juan (dragoncelica) and John (Garage Zero), and Oz (annihilation) turn gearhead science into mcguyver art, doing what the books and others say is impossible- and doing it well. We need more guys like this out there to keep Old Skool alive and kicking ass. They aren't in it for the fame, just here to build some sick shit that you definitely haven't seen before.
