    Default omg i'm never gonna get this shit together

    For those of you that don't know...

    i've been trying to get a Megasquirt up and running. I had no idea wtf i was diong when i started this. But soon had to figure out how every pickup and sensor worked in great detail. I had everything buttoned up.. and then my fuel pump took a shit on me... So i fixed that and now it looks like i've got a dead coil!! AAAAAaaahhhh!!! GODDAMN FUCKING SHIT.

    I haven't driven this thing in like 3 months now and i'm starting to get tired of this project, its super hard to find time to work on it and when i do its late at night so i can't try to start it without fear of waking up my daughter and/or wife. Due to the time frame i also can't get any friends to come help! lol Just shit luck so far.

    i'm so close to having this up and running... i've got fuel and all my settings should be good!! the closer i get to the end the farther i seem to be.

    For some reason I'm always finding threads about these cars never wanting to run. always seem to be something....lots of luck though... and crank that bad boy up and be proud of your work

    Hey where do you live & what are your days off ? I just put a Megasquirt system on my Z so if I can, I will come help you. I also was very frusterated & have a wife & baby so I know where you are coming from.

    do you have any experience with Direct Coil control? i'm in winder. days off? hah whats that?

    I've got a good stock coil if you want it. Just pay me gas money. Or just go get a Blaster 2 from Autozone or Summit, 40 bucks.

    Hi


    Go to starquest club I'm sure someone will give you a copy of there map to help you get it up and running. There are a few of them running MegSqt. I'm not I'm running FIP system it does run on the MegSqt software, but not all the systems work. FIP is alittle different. Is the rest of your system working good or you are not sure just yet. Don't give up you are almost there. The car looks great !

    wow man, didnt know you were on here. my maps arent the problem, i've got some kind of configuration or wiring problem i cant find

    What is the problem? Also to let you know Jonboy is real good with the MegSqt system also. Sometimes I'll give him a call to help me with my car. Knock
    on wood my car has had no problems with the system at all. Only when i 1st set it up. Also make sure you run a backup and save it away somewere.
