    Default "Classic" Italian

I have in my posession a 1982 Lancia Beta Spyder, they spell "spider" with a "y" to differentiate the "Beta Spyder" from the "Alfa Spider"Alfa Romeo spider that is. I do not have any pictures of it yet so here are some pics I was a able to find on the net. These are what my Beta Spyder will hopefully look like when it is completely restored I do need to weld a new floor pan in but this is a good representation of one if you have never seen one.

props to the photographer who took these pictures
Mine is the exact same color too

It has a 2.0 Litre 1995cc 8 valve DOHC motor 8.2 C/R producing 122HP to the ground, and it has an extreemly well handling suspenssion to boot. It also has what is considered the to be the first Antilock breaking system, dont ask me how it works cause I am not quite sure, but it does. It has two front strut tower braces, they connect the struts to the front radiator support, possibly the strongest point

A targa top over the front seats and a fold down convertable roof over the rear seats, I guess it was what they tought was what people like in Italy.but that is basicaly what it is
