Thinking about getting a set of hid's
I have 9006 lo and 9005 hi beams.
i think i am goign to try replacing the highs 1st.
How about a few suggestions on temperature.
5300k?
6000k?
8000k?
im thinking 5300k, because i want max output.

The best out put is 41-4300k OEM. It's the closest to daylight reproduction, which is the aim of H.I.D (Xenon)
COLOR is gained as you go up in Kelvin Rating but you lose OUTPUT so it all depends on whatcha whatcha watcha want!
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?
The temperature that offers the most lumens of output is 4800k, if I remember correctly, so if you are shooting for the most light on the road, the closer you can get to that, the better.
<edit> Yes, it is around 4200k, as K said. </edit>

What if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today.
LOL i always thought HID were pointless till i moved to Germany and saw why they come factory on BMW and some other german cars..bc there is no damn reflection on the road at nite at fuckin all. Good thing Deer here is like the size of a lil lab.
I had 5k and liked it. Anything above 6k lessens your light output and IMO not that great.
