I'll take pics of my collection when I get home. Let me put it this way; when I moved out of my parents house, it took me one trip with the Yaris filled (backseat down, packed to the roof) of nothing but anime DVD's, CD's, books, scrolls, and other stuff. When I collect something, I don't bullsh*t.

I do. $1 a page. Black and white, printed, and ready to read. Any characters (originals okay too), situations, or whatever. Pay half before getting started, half upon finishing.

I'm too, an anime addict. I do not collect retail anime like Ran does, but I do have over 3TB of anime that I Downloaded (dvd rip, divx, etc.)
Anime is the shit and there's no shame to it. It's the Japanese culture just like how Chinese have their long TV series, and US with opera and TV series.
Most people when they think of anime, they immediately thought of Pokemon, etc. which are for kids. There're more to anime than just that.

Look at it this way. If you were an artist, and someone asked you to draw a female figure. What would you draw? You'd draw a girl that is as close as possible to your idea of feminine perfection. Same thing with anime or hentai. The artists don't want to draw something that isn't attractive to them. They think up what they deem is beautiful or sexy to them and go with it. The only thing I'm not all that into is the figurines. I understand they're very well crafted and all, but I just don't see the point. I guess it's no different than wall scrolls or anything, but IDK. I'm trying to start my own collection so that I don't have to rob my BF anymore. I want to start the manga series of Samurai Deeper Kyo, possibly Ruroni Kenshin, and I want to finish School Rumble.

Ran, I'm like the exact opposite. I think they charge WAY too much for anime dvds, so I just download any series/episodes I want without a care. The only thing that has been keeping me from downloading more lately is the fact that I lack a bigger harddrive or a DVD burner. Its kinda tedious burning it all to CDs. lol 4 episodes a disc + ~13 or ~26 episodes per series = LOTS OF CDS
