    Just my 2 cents. If it wasnt imported from the UK or Japan I would just leave it LHD because other wise you are just going to be labeled as a want-to-be JDM person...

    THE FOCUS THAT IS IN THE US IS BUILT ON THE SAME PLATFORM AS ANYWHERE ELSE, IT WAS ONE OF FORDS "WORLD CARS", THEY ARE THE SAME EVERYWHERE.. AS FAR AS OUTPUT, THERE IS NO RWD FOCUS MADE FROM FACTORY, AND EVEN COSWORTH VARIANTS ARE AWD. I HAVE SEEN A FEW CUSTOM JOBS AND THEY ARE A LOTTA FUN TO DRIVE I WILL TELL YA THAT LOL..

    WHAT MOTOR DID MIKEY HAVE, I'M BETTING IT WAS A C30 5 BANGER (WHICH IS IN THE NEWER VOLVOS AND EUROPEAN FOCUS) OR THE T5 VERSION

    Oh shit elises in europe are only $18,000. I know this because when I was in europe last summer I pciked up the european version of autotrader called "exchange and mart" and there is an elise fro 10K euros and the exchange rate was 1 euro to 1.8 us dollars.

    Well back on the topic of RHD, I say do it if you have the time and patients. I wouldnt do because I'll be too scared of fucking up something, but if I had the right resourses who knows..............

    I think that most people that convert their car to right hand drive are doing it purely to show off. Its useless here in the states. All those drive through restaurants and banks - you'll never be able to use them. Along with removing these benefits of using those facilities, you are PAYING to remove them.

    It depends. In my case it was nor spend 2k on a single turbo setup or 2k on mount kit that kept the twins. My broke ass went with alternative C.
