How is it gay no matter what it looks like? You are looking at the wrong type of kit cars.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...554425107&rd=1

Id buy that with no problem. A lot of wealthy people buy kit cars as well, believe it or not because of things like cost, insurance, maintenance, etc. I had a friend who had a F355 kit car and he was said that people always thought his lotus was a ferrari, and people can rarely tell the difference. Have you ever seen the maintenance cost on a ferrari? Shiiiitttt! Just my $.02

Probally not that fast, but Id ask how much ass Id get driving it before Id ask about the speed. Its a mr-s, so its not exactly the best platform, but its going to be nowhere near a real f360 spec.

Now the fiero based kit cars, thats a whole different ballgame. Ever seen a supercharged Northstar v8 in a light ass roadster? Extremely common in the kitcar world, even moreso than FI corvette swaps

Thats a jackass comment in his response. Ive heard that Haler was full of dicks though... But I see absolutely nothing wrong with kit cars, been into that scene for the past 4 years.

Especially when there are some VERY nice kits floating around. Look at the Attack, rarely see people bashing on that.

Anyone ever see the movie "The Rock"? Guess what, the F355 in there was a kit car. There are so many kit cars in hollywood, its sick. Ive seen a Lambo Murc. kit car right next to the real deal and the only giveaway was the interior. Maybe because I like kit cars, and this scene is really full of enthusiast who consider the speed associated with the car, I have no problems with that, I can understand the different side of the issue.

One thing that you gotta love though is that the majority of kit builders are individuals, not shops. So people break down and create cars from scratch in their garages, which I have lots of respect for them
