it was on 285 sunday night & some 5 series BMW decided he wanted to race. so we did, I spanked him then we got into traffic. well we take off again and what do I see in my rear view mirror? BLUE LIGHTS! damn, cold busted. mean while Mr.I wish I got an M3 shoots off the exit and gets away.
btw: we were doing well over 100mph. probally about 115 or so.
so the cop takes my license and says, "Any reason for the big hurry?". and I say, "No not really." then he says a couple of other things and I'm just like yep you're right, I was going WAY to fast . then he says(verbatium), "I'm gonna let you off with a quick warning since I couldn't catch the other guy too." I say, "thank you!" and he says, "It's not worth it, it's not worth it." then I almost F things up by saying, "yeah, it was just a stock 5 Series." He grins a little then gives me the don't blow it dumbass look.

Damn I got lucky! he could have taken my license and hauled me off to jail for how fast I was going! +50 or more, damn!
aparently O.J ain't the only one that can be guilty as sin and get away.
note: I've always frowned on "racing" and this little scare is enough to keep me from pulling that shit again.

Never let someone else dictate your speed. Its not an excuse. You got lucky. If someone dose ride your ass SLOW DOWN, if they are seriously in need to get somewhere they'd have there hazards on or something, and you can always make the choice to CHANGE LANES or PULL OVER to the side.
