Default Ok, I ditched cable and got satellite...

DishNetwork. So far, so good. Paying $30/month instead of $47 is good for me. Everything was free and I pay $20/month for the first 3 months. When the dude set it up, I saw my signal strength. It was at 123 out of 125. He said the highest he ever saw was 106. We'll see how this works out. Later, QD.

I used to hate the Dish. When it sprinkles (lol) No tv. It use to lose its signal WAYYY to much. I do miss having all those channels for that low price. I don't watch tv anymore anyways

Dish is tight, especially if you can get the hookup on the cards. All the channels, even the smut! Im happy with Charter Cable, as long as my fukin InDemand works. Other than that its skrait

You don't get the smut anymore they are changing the cards. Ummm, or that's what a friend told me, LOL. If you buy the programmer you just reprogram every time they go out on you. Good deals man. I LOVE DISH!!

yea the cards are cool when they last...
but it gets kinda annoying when they send out signals every now and then to fuck up the codes...

The only time I ever have a problem is when there is a major thunderstorm, the video goes out for a couple mins (and only on certain channels), but the sound is still there. When I had cable and it went out, it was out for hrs, sometimes days. I also like the guide feature of satelite. I can see whats on for the entire day, and put a check next to shows I want to watch. It'll automatically change the channel for me as each show comes on in case I forget. The 40 free no commercial music channels are nice too. Fuk cable!

Who do you use, and how much do you pay? Cause I know my parents still use cable, and whoever they use still has the scrolling guide where you have to wait for 5 mins to catch the channel your interested in (and then it only shows the next 2 hrs of programming) The only music channels they get are MTV, VH1, and CMT (which aren't really music channels).
