Leisa its the same games, same style of playing, the ds lite is newer in design and lighter and looks like the Wii (their new console gaming station)

Its honestly not that big of a difference. The Lite is just a tad bit smaller than the regular DS. The Lite also has a slightly brighter screen as well. But the DS Lite is like $30 more than the original DS. I've played both of them and the differences are barely noticeable.
