    Default Blah! I want my laptop back

    Well this past tuesday I came home from work and the entire bottom of my 4 months old Gateway laptop was melted and warped.. I took it back to best buy who of course told me it was overheating problems (no shit right?).. So we sent it back to gateway.. well now i am stuck using my old desktop which had a registry virus and it sucks.. blah i want my laptop back..

    Not that we know of.. it was just so odd to be sitting on my desk plugged into the charger as it usually is and sitting on my desk.. It pissed me off spending 1700 on a laptop and 4 months later it doing this.. I was pissed.. Then best buy wanted to charge me $100 to try and get all the data off my harddrive.. and if they couldnt they would only give me $30 back.. no way in hell im spending $70 for them to TRY...

    NOW you tell me.. lol...Honestly I kinda feel the same way though.. when my desktop went out, which I have had since 2002 and got as a graduation from HS gift..I figured it was time to upgrade.. I should have looked at all my options first..

    See had you bought a reliable computer such as an Apple this wouldnt have happened. It seems buying reliable products has a good chance of the item staying working all the time....

    i have had my hp for a year and a half now. 15.4 in" widescreen. Paid like $800 for it. Have yet to had a problem with it.
