Killed a Pit today....

yea shes spoiled if she dont have it her way shell bug you till she gets it ..

thanks to the no good x gf ..

she thinks the futon is hers and she refuses to go into her cage now a days cause my friends spoil her ..

if your sitting on the futon and shes sleeping shell try and move around so you can move out the way ..

if she gets on the bed she has to lay in between my legs or under the blanket ..

but other then that shes a good dog ..

Pits are dangerous. Obviously if the punk-ass owner didn't care enough about the dog to keep out of his yard (despite repeated warnings), then he probably didn't train it either. The ONLY way to be 100% safe around an untrained pit that is coming at you is to take it down.

unfortuneately dogs like pits, sheppards, dobermans, etc have genetic breeding that give them the proclivity to be aggressive...that's why they are fighting and/or guard dogs. should their environment not be right they are even more inclined to be aggressive and dangerous. as they age it becomes more likely as well.

as a child i grew up having a german sheppard that was the most gentle dog, but at a certain age he began becomming aggressive for no reason and almost took a friends hand off...luckily he was fast and got back before getting bitten. the dog never showed any aggression towards myself or my brother, but we had to put the dog down because my neighborhood was full of kids and kids don't respect property lines or fences in a lot of cases.

That's kind of like one my warlock Dobermans, as it was growing up I would sit on it, or corner it, or tease it by lighting a lighter to scare it.
