Is $1500 a good deal on a PS3 in general? No, not at all. However, the fact that most children will be dying for this system will have the parents dishing out asinine amounts of money to have one and make their kids happy. So while $1500 may not be a good deal on a system that you could readily go out and buy for $600, the fact that they are not readily available will make families more than willing to pay $1500 as opposed to $3000+.

So, is $1500 a good deal in general? No, not really. Is it a good deal considering the circumstances of the holiday and lack of supply? Perhaps.
