    and it gave me something diffrent...

    489.2kbps, although I'm download a movie right now... so I'm sure that isn't improving the test. I used to get around 5mbps but somethin' has slowed it down, not sure if it is Charter or if it's my computer/modem.

    anyone here have dsl? i like comcast cable but the new complex i'm moving into only carries bell south. their dsl prices are fucking insane, 50 something bucks a month for the fastest speed.

    i had gAyOL DSL and bellsouth...i wasn't fond of either of them to be quite honest....they were very slow...tech support was crap...i got kicked off constantly...speeds were sporadic also...but this was like 2 years ago...they've probably fixed they're shit by now....atleast i hope so...lol

    we have bellsouth dsl...its about 45 bux a month....thats better than cable ( price )... not nearly as fast, but its fast enough

    mine is 989.8 kbps
