If I recall correctly they're in the neighborhood of $35,000.
They can be made to be street legal. They can out handle bikes on a track and run deep in the 11s or possibly even 10s in stock form.
I'd pick Honda reliability anyday over the Ecotec motor, though. What can I say, I'm a sucker for 9,000RPM redlines.
The Honda K20 engine also comes with an option to supercharge it and make 275-300hp, also.
These things have been around for a while. However, for the price, I'd probably spring for something else.
GM has made some pretty sh*tty stuff, but the Ecotec engine is not one of them. It actually pretty good powerplant and is easy to modify. You don't get the torqueless 9K RPMs though.Originally Posted by iloveboost
