I personally usually spend extra and buy them local at the store for two reasons. If I dont like the lens I can return in 30 days and Im impatient and like to get my stuff quick with no waiting.
Ebay is always a good place to pick up stuff, but dont expect having a warranty with anything you buy on there. Most sellers on there are not authorized sellers or dealers and sell gray market goods.
BH Photo is also a great place to get stuff at a good price.

Yeah I noticed.
The Zr3 has saved me from two major tickets so far. Both times I wasnt really aware of how fast I was going. Most recent I was on my way into work before sunrise, and I was going about 85mph in a 55. Out of nowhere the alarm alerts me that it is shifting a laser. I slow down, then notice far in the dark expanse of I-20W near the HOV lane, a GSP officer pointing his shit right at me. Without it I would have been a goner. I dont use it as an excuse to speed, but it does help when Im not really paying attention. I would reccommend it for sure. Road and Track I believe did a full test on this one and a few others too.
