    Default newton county

this is not me bitching about something i did and wanting to get away with it. just need some info.

i got a speeding ticket from the newton county police, (or whatever the brown police cars are). that was september 3rd. the back of the ticket says probate court and ive called and they keep saying its not on file. shouldnt it be on file by now? the last time i called they said the citation number doesnt even match with the current citation numbers they are giving out which are something like 24256. and mine is 56 and some 3 other number. my ticket happens to be considered a misdemeanor would that be why its not on file and i need to call somewhere else? i also havent received andthing in the mail about a court date, but when i got pulled over he gave me a court date on the ticket.

and if this helps any, i was originally pulled over for speeding 115/ in 65 and 3 other charges (big ones). but i knew somebody sorta and i got out of the 3 other charges that i was in the process of being arrested and sent to jail for, and got to be driven home in my car with nothing but the speeding ticket. i also still have my license for now, until i figure out if and when i have a court date or whats up with my citation not matching the current ones or even being on file yet.
