Sorry if she offended one of your buddies wanting to take photos, but if he would have gone through the correct channels (like Pablo) he would not have gotten the run around on Friday like he says he did. Rules and guidelines are in place for a reason at an event of this size.
Who cares how long NOPI has been doing shows? If you continue to do things on a large scale, you will continue being able to do them.

Something else that is funny, staff from IA get press credentials for a NOPI event, but NOPI can't rent a booth at the IA event in Commerce, sounds like someone is scared of NOPI chewing them up and spitting them out. Julio, where you going when they bulldoze Commerce in 2007 to make it a buisness park?
Nemesis, if you worked for a viable media source, you would have known to go through NOPI's media firm before hand and get your name on the list for this event. If the security guard pushed you back, then he was doing his job per his contract to work the Ludricris concert and several other events.
I am not throwing stones at you particularly, just the people who seem to thank that a press pass means they get free reign of the entire facility at events like this.
As far as the grass goes, like Kelli said, that is a AMS deal. Thye do not want vehicles or heavy equipment on the front stretch grass. They could care less about the rest of the grass in the facility because it is there to park on. The grass on the front straight is for sponsor logos on thier NASCAR events.
Once again, the media pass is not a pass to do what you wish.
