    Default acura made my asshole sore

    damn it hurts! $92/hr in labor charges.. soo far im at 7 hrs with no sign of an end!

    and this is just to figure out why my car is not running not fixing the problem! aaaah!!

    the dilly is acura wants money.....tell them you charge 92$ hr waitin for them to find out whats wrong, then its free each and every hour while you wait for them to fix it after they kno what the problem is....and whose sayin they've been lookin at it for 7 hours...i say 30 mins

    ya it sux ass and they really and truly have a tech dedicated to my car all day.. ive been up there to check on it and heis got my motor all the fuck apart...

    apparently it jumped timing somehow... unsure how... they dont know how that happened, he said nothing else appears wrong... but he wont know until he can get the car started

    ya it sucks my car wont even run.. lets not mention all the work i had a local mechanic do to fix it over the last month that was all for nothing..

    I jsut want it to blow up

    acura SUCKS!! Right when my warranty ended EVERYTHING went wrong with my CL. It died on me like every other week (not exaggerating) and had to pay to tow to dealerships and to fix a different thing everytime. I spent $4,000 on it in a month and a half. Money hole.

    What year and model CL? What happend after your warranty died?

    98 3.0CL u name it.. it stopped working. such as the starter, electrical problems, i had my battery replaced 3 times in a week cus Acura dealership hires idiots, it basically kept dying and acura didn't have a fuckin clue what to fix which is what put me in the hole. on top of everything windows wouldnt go up, etc etc. I sold it and I will never buy another acura again

    yeah alex, that sucks, i thought it was that all along. thought it was a timing issue, but since i never touched that side of car i culdnt see how the "timing jumped". thats why it was throwing that VPC code, and thats why it ran like shit. they SHOULD just have to redo the chain and put it at top dead center, provided you didnt bend any valves

    Eh, don't feel too bad. Both Porsche and Land Rover charge me $96/hr for labor + parts that are out of this word.

    Not to start anything or sound negative, but if its not warranty work then why take it to the dealer, there are sooooooo many shops around that would fix it at a much lower labor rate!!!
