    Hmmm initial reports, but supposedly he died from a stingray. Guess it's true cause I"m seein' it on a few sources on yahoo news now. RIP steve irwin

    i always figured it'd be a gator or crocodile to get him, turns out it was a stingray... wonder what he was doin' in salt water anyways.

    daaaaaaaaaaaamn that sucks if its true, but it said on msnbc.com that one station is reporting that he just got stung, and they cant confirm the reports that he died

    he did die, he got stung in the chest - it sounds like the stingray's barb slipped between his ribs and got his heart. 1 in a million thing, very sad for his family.
