Everyone has gotten them. With mine, I decided to try something. Below, you will see the E-mail I received to start this off:

SUBJECT: HELLO AND URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED

Your name and e-mail address came up in a random draw conducted by our
law firm, (Moore & Co Chambers,) in Lagos, Nigeria. I am Barrister Phil
Moore, the Legal Adviser and counsel to a deceased expatriate
contractor who used to work with Zenith Oil and Gas Company here in Nigeria
thereafter shall be referred as my late client. On the December 26th 2003,
my client and his entire family died in a plane crash in coition, Benin
Republic. You will read more stories about the crash on visiting this

known philanthropist before he died, he made a Will stating that
$9.2m(Nine Million Two Hundred Thousand USA Dollars Only) should be donated
to any Philanthropist of our choice overseas. We have made a random draw
where your name and e-mail address was picked as the beneficiary to
this Will.


I am particularly interested in securing this money from the bank,
because they have issued a notice instructing us to produce the beneficiary
of this Will within two weeks or else the money will be credited to the
Government treasury as per law here.


It is my utmost desire to execute the Will of our late client in your
favor and therefore, you are required to contact me immediately to start
the process of sending this money to any or your designated official

Well today, I received a response from this guy:

Subject: MORE DETAILS / THE WAY FORWARD

Thank you for you prompt response to my email.

Your name was picked from our random draw as this was
a decision taken by my law firm after receiving notice
of instruction from the bank of their decision to
transfer the fund to the government treasury if within
three weeks we are still unable to come forward with
the beneficiary. Hence my law office made a random
draw from the list of selected email addresses.

My client Name is Philip Wang. He was the Director of
the Gas and Oil Company with head office situated in
Lagos Nigeria. I am presently in Lagos Nigeria and the
money is deposited in Equity Trust Bank.

LOL I tried that on the last one that sent me an email. he wrote back and said that I needed to send a copy of my passport before he would provide a pic as confirmation of his identity.
