No not at all, but when you make it into an international competion that is as big as this padget is I would aspect atleast be bi-langual (assuming that she doesnt speak french, german, japanese, chinaese, russain, or itlain or a version of one of those or another language that is less known)

For this event thats not even TOP of the list in order to compete and WIN the event. :goodjob:

are you bilingual? because it looks you're having a hard enough time typing english let alone speaking another language. you can't expect everyone else to speak the language you do just because you think they should.

I think you guys missed my point, and I dont even claim to know english or be able to type it. Miss universe was international competition correct? I was just saying that I was a lil disapointed to hear that she needed a translater, and the fact that I just came back from a place that I was retarded in a sense because I was only flunate in one language when everyone else at the table was tri-langual.

As a response it your question no I am not bilingual, but I dont compete in international competions either...

I wonder if every Miss America has been atleast biligual... I doubt it. So I don't think language is an issue. Some of those chicks spoke many languages I don't think most did. I wouldn't call it lazy because Miss Universe speaks her native tongue and thats it.
