Default PLEASE HELP!! :) VERY URGENT

Hey you guys, my friend is having a problem. His factory alarm system on his jeep cherokee is messed up. The car starts but dies right away because of the fuel cut off option on the factory alarm. Is there a way to disconnect the alarm? and if so, where?

put it in gear and push it into an intersection.

Is it manual or automatic? Are you sure it's fuel cut and not starter cut? And are you sure that the starter and or battery/alternator just didn't go?

I dont know where it is located. Should it be by the driver kick panel? under the metal bar?

you do realize that would also happen if he killed the battery?

the battery works dude... you can turn the ignition on and the lights on the dash come on.....plus we're not 2. We would realize if it was the battery. I dont think that the power wire would run to the battery because its a stock alarm.

jump up on a dedicated forum dude... i'm sure it's a common occurance in the community. You're going to have a hell of a time trying to find someone who knows what they are talking about here.(as far as that particular car)

i dont think you're going to get what you're looking for on a forum like that... considering it's a factory alarm i would go to a board dedicated to jeeps... like one of these three.

Ok, it says the RKE ( remote keyless entry) module is located between the sunvisors. There is a factory disarm wire located in the drivers kick panel (purple/yellow). Send this wire a ground pulse to this wire to disarm. If no luck, disconnect power from the Keyless module between the visors. I will do some more research and see if disconnecting power to the keyless module will disable anything else.

Ok, pin # 1 (Pink) is the constant 12 volt source for the keyless/security unit.
Pin # 11 is the ignition feed (Black). Try disconnecting the ignition feed first. It is a 12 pin connector located at the keyless module between the sun visors.
