in fact, i am a product of an abortion. my parents were not ready to handle a kid when my mom first got pregnant several yrs before i was conceived. to think that if they were ready to handle the child and didn't get an abortion, i wouldn't even be around. then my mom had another abortion when i was 12 because they weren't willing to bring down the quality of life for those already alive in our family.

we all know there are precautions to prevent pregnancy like condoms, birth control, and the morning after pill, but sometimes even the precautions don't work. i got pregnant off the pill and i had to get an abortion. as much as i knew about abortion and all the procedures, i wasn't ready to have the kid so i had to do it. it's not that i couldn't take care of it or i wasn't gonna face responsibility, i just wasn't ready. i thought about adoption, but i wouldn't wana give up my child to someone else after all the shit i went through to have it. plus, some people just wanna be stable before having a kid. paul is also right, some girls just shouldn't have babies and those are the ones who use our tax money to pay for their shit! also, what if a girl was raped by her dad or some random motherfucker and got pregnant? what if that girl was ur sister, aunt, cousin, or whoever? would you want them to keep the baby?
