Default 350Z VS S2000 which one would you buy?

It's my big break and I get to pick a nice new or fairly newer car.

which one will you choose and why?

I definatly would Take the S2000 as it is cheaper to maintain and hellfied more reliable..Plus a Turbo on an S is just sick fun..Why stop there I think I would Rather have a NSX over both though

I must say s2k. They just look so damn clean. Also, I like the 350z as the coupe but the convertible, the ass looks very bloated and robust. s2k looks good top up or top down and you can always get a mugen cf hard top for it.

s2000. they are more reliable than the 350Z. 350z i have heard that they tend to have bad tranny problems

I like both cars but, if you're looking for conv. then def. go with the S2K, cuz the 350Z convertibles just look wrong and takes away the flow of the coupe 350.

If you get the S2K then I'd def. say get the hardtop for it.

s2000 would be about 5k cheaper. Personally i would take the z and not just because im in the nissan family but because of the car itself. I sat in both and the 2000 is very very small. Where as the z has a little more roomy of a feel. Im sure the 2000 is more reliable, and the convertible would be fun. I am considering the same choices myself for my next ride. The z also has nasty blind spots. I would go test drive eacha nd compare. Only way to do it.

I'd say s2k if ur not too tall. If this is gonna be ur DD, you'll wanna be comfortable. I'm 6'3" and couldn't fit in one...which is how I ended up with my Lude. Heard the convertible G35 is coming next year...may wanna wait.

yea that torque is gonna be your biggest difference. Its alot easier to drift a 350z than it is an s2k.

I'd take an S2000. Although, I can't fit in one very well right now, I'd rather have it. Very reliable. They only had one recall, and I've seen a few with over 100,000 miles, and still perfect as day 1. The 350z are starting to break down in some things.

I'm with JITB.. neither. For the type of money your going to spend, there's alot better selections out there. Not down talking the S2000 or the Z, but if I was going to spend the kind of money on a car, it wouldn't be on one of those. But out of the 2, probably the S2000.

I would have to go with the s2k being a Honda/Acura enthusiast. But I do like the G35, the head/tail lights are prettier. LOL
