Anyone does that to me and I'll gladly hold them at gunpoint until the cops arrive. My story will be that it stung my eyes, made it hard for me to see, knocked a contact out, and I had no idea what they put in the water gun. It could have been bleach, urine, etc. Either way, I'll make sure that someone who does that to me not only pisses their pants while I hold them at gunpoint with a REAL gun, but goes to jail as well.

Actually, if you shoot me in the face with a water gun (let's say you knock my contact out), then you just committed assault. I can hold you with a citizen's arrest if need be. I've seen it done before as 15 years ago, my friend shot a woman in the face with a Super Soaker. He was arrested. Don't think that you are above the law in this situation.

How are you gonna prove that he knocked your contact out in court? So, you're standing there holding a gun on a kid, and cops pull up, you think you're not gonna be detained? it's unlawful detainment no matter how you cut it, because unless the kid says that he hadn't planned to leave after he shot, that under his own free will he was gonna stand there waiting for the police, and that your gun had nothing to do with him staying, buddy you go to jail. A footchase wouldn't be to your advantage either. :) You are looking at someone that can run the 400m in the 0:55-0:57sec mark, the mile in under 5 minutes, and the 5k in ~16:30.
