I just bought a for sale sign for it and got 3 calls already I'm selling it for 10k with mods and the AEM. I'm sick of fucking with AEM and I need more power than I can make with either the KA or SR and the chassis won't take the RB power so this car hasta go. I love driving it but I want a high hp car for now I'll probably buy another or an FD for the twisties.

The 240 would make just as much or more power than a DSM I have a 2.4L chain-driven iron block with internals and cryo'd transmission. Oops did I say transmission.... Something DSM's go through like toilet paper. Those cars are so unreliable I want to puke.

There has to be a reason why we dont see many 1g dsm's around as much..

i say the 5.0 just dont go overboard cuz they do go through performance parts pretty quickly...do it right the first time and even then have spare parts if its going to be more track oriented. My fiancee's uncle has a orange 5.0 and he has gone through 2 engines. But hey he doesnt care he made 9 second passes all motor without nitrous.

so high hp is nice in 5.0s since the parts are hella cheap.

im just saying, the price an power you cannot beat with a 2JZ. hell Dave is running 11.55s with a STOCK motor all it has is a single turbo.

stock injectors, stock cams, stock bottom end, stock everything.

with $2500 he could bust 10s with cams, headgasket, injectors
