Basically no one drives the speedlimit on 85 (if you drive 55, you will ran off the road). So my biggest beef is why not enforce the speed limit at all times, not just when a street racing movie comes out!

I'm not making excuses for my actions. Yes, I was speeding (just like most of Atlanta drivers). I just like the idea of setting speed traps just because of a "racing" movie. Why not enforce the law 24/7??? Plus, I made this post as a warning for others.

Months ago, a co-worker of mine who went to GSU made that video. Him and 5 others drove parallel to each other at EXACTLY 55 mph for like 20 minutes. They had a shitload of cameras set up and they won the GSU film festival.There was a shitttttttttload of traffic behind them of angry, honking people.

I saw that video, It's awsome. I've also seen another one where people tried to pass them, run onto shoulders, and almost causing accidents to people on the shoulders.
On another note, Cops don't really care of you're going under 70mph on Interstates unless it's medium to heavy traffic and you're cutting people back and forth. Otherwise, it's reasonable.
If it's anything that the movie would cause is that kids getting into accidents around the corners, not speeding on a straight line

i think he said that the kid was actually pulling some ebrake dori dori manuevers off the on ramp into traffic and thats why he got pulled over and the excuse of "im chasing DK down so i can get my girl back" didnt work. funny how he got a ticket, when a group of highly exotic cars were on 85N and didnt get pulled over. and im sure they are alot faster than you.

With that said, I was driving my car in that area all weekend as I live up around the movie theater at I85/I285. I didn't get pulled over or anything and I stand out like none-other. Go figure. Perhaps they were pulling people over for not just speeding, but for making themselves noticable...ones that were acting stupid or setting themselves apart from other vehicles.
