****WHAT WOULD YOU DO?****

Say you're talking to this person, not really dating, but maybe considering it... and they seem really great...They have a great job (an engineer, for example, making $85K+ a year), a nice house (only from description, you've never been there), served in the military, etc.

What if you found out that everything they've ever told you was a lie... From their name to what they really do to the felonies on their record, etc.?

This happend to my best friend just 2 days ago... She was kinda talkin to this guy and we just found out that he's had 2 DUI's (not really that big of a deal), 2 felonies (1 for assault by a deadly weapon towards a female *he beat the shit out of her with a hand gun* and 1 is for fraud to a corporate account *stealing money*) 10 misdemeanors, etc. Not only that, he was dishonorably discharged from the military. He's also had warrants out because he doesn't pay court ordered child support.

She wants to confront him because she's like me, she hates a liar... But she's afraid he'll try to hurt her... What would you do? How would you go about that? She wants to brush it off, but he bounces at the bar we go to on the weekends...

Yes, he's been to our apartment several times... If she confronts him, she will have several people (including my ex-boyfriend who isn't small by any means there) and 2 cops in the parking lot (both friends as well)... She wants him to leave her alone, but he calls at least 5 times a day. She hasn't answered since she found all this out, but he won't take the hint...

Oh yea, and he has 4 alias names (all different last names) and he told people he looks at her as a challenge.

Shit, i know i'm not making anywhere near that but know what can be done with it and I'm looking forward to it That with the military benefits would be more than enough to get a loan or be a partner in OWNING a small bar or club.

How much he makes has nothing to do w/ this thread. I drive a 91 Si hatch daily and I make his salary look like lunch money. This is SIMPLE. The fact that she has had to go behind him to investigate him ALREADY means that they lack the 1 thing that EVERY relationship needs... trust. The fact of WHAT she found out means nothing... HEAR ME OUT BEFORE YOU FLAME.

Let's say she called BS and got a BG check done on him and found out that he saved 10 kids from a burning building and is a volunteer librarian in his spare time. THAT would mean nothing either, b/c SOMETHING prompted the search for more information... that "something" = LACK OF TRUST. You got no trust, you got NOTHING!

The DAY I gotta sneak behind some1 I am dating is the day that I am calling it off. If I want some1 I need to sleep w/ 1 eye open around, I can use my ENEMIES for that, not my gf.

ALSO, like every1 on the planet who is 2 seconds old or older, he has a past. So do you, so do I, so does God. People grow, people change. Now his history is DEFINITELY indicative of his character b/c of the multiple occurences, but every1 can change. Some people change for the good, and some for the worst.

FINALLY, women who think men like this "will get the hint" by ignoring him is wrong. TELL him EXACTLY what you want from him, and tell him that is your final answer. Do not expect him to just "get it". For 1, that's tacky, and for 2 he shouldn't HAVE to b/c she DID date him... you do not date some1 w/out knowing how to talk to them and tell them what's on your mind. Say what you mean, mean what you say, and walk away. If he is really not worth it in the end, then that's what you need to do. Then move on... he is 1 guy out of EVERY OTHER GUY ON THE PLANET, pick one of those and move on.
