Let's be honest. Black Americans are lazy as a whole. Maybe it's just Georgia. I rarely see Blacks doing any manual labor. I will say, Blacks love being CSR's. All they do is sit on their ass and talk on the phone. Two things most Black love. Don't ever try to separate a Black girl from her Metro PCS phone. I think you have good sense when you post car-related topics most of the time, but this thread is really stupid.

Let me quote the Census Bureau here:
"In October 1997, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) announced the revised standards for federal data on race and ethnicity. The minimum categories for race are now: American Indian or Alaska Native; Asian; Black or African American; Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander; and White."
Further...
"There are also two minimum categories for ethnicity: Hispanic or Latino and Not Hispanic or Latino. Hispanics and Latinos may be of any race."

True, this is from a US perspective, but gues what...this is where we live.

What does this mean?
1. Jesus was white.
2. Hispanic/Latino is not a "race," its an ethnic origin.
and here is the shocker...
3. techinically, Latinos/Hispanics can be considered white depending on their location of origin.
"White" can be broken down into Hispanic/Latino and non-hispanic/Latino. But, they are both a "white" race.
Hispanic/Latino is an ethnic origin, which means where that certain group of white people came from.

So, while all the Latinos love to call themselves non-white now, lets not forget that technically they can be, and most in the US are, and many others around the world are (unless you are black hispanic, asian-hispanic, etc.) Maybe not "white Europeans-decent," but whites none-the-less in all statical reporting.

LMAO!!!! LIGHTSPEED went textbook on me!! So I guess Dave Matthews (from S. Africa) is still African American, but not AFRO American (remeber when that was a choice). WTF!!! I think this is b/c whites do not ever want to be considered the "minority" in their "own" country (that they stole from the Indians) . What a shame!!!
