    If you have Microsoft Word, you should still be able to open it...

    I didnt do it my mother typed a research paper for my daughter and sent it by email using microsoft works,... now my laptop wont open it since i dont have access to that program... does anyone have access to this program?

    newer programs are usually backwards compatible. if all else fails, open in notepad, copy/paste to word.
