    Default IA VACATION (Labor Day Weekend)

    Alright so i've had the idea for a while for an IA Vacation, a few days of drinking, dancing, nice resturants, site seeing, partying like usual IA style..... so I'm thinking of going back to New Orleans in September 2-5th labor day weekend. This would be an ADULT ONLY 21+ weekend, b/c of the excessive bars/clubs down there. If your interested in going post up. Below is the place Kate & I stay when we go down, is in walking distance to everything and it is fucking awesome ultra modern lofts.

    ^ if you have never been to New Orleans; River street in Savannaha, GA is a small taste of what its like. Its definately a city that doesn't sleep... it has something for everyone wether your into just partying, music, dancing, the arts, shopping, gambling, etc...

    ^ no driving needed everything is walking, taxi, or trollie


    there are a tons of nice strip joints there too.... hustler, gold club, etc... you can walk by and take a peak of whats inside, they have pics posted in the windows

    ^ the loft/ihotel will run 139-199$ a night i believe but i can probably get us a group discount, since kate and i have stayed there before. then whatever money you want to spend while down there.

    - there is a nice aquarium
    - 5 story imax
    - tons of tours/sites
    - shopping
    - drinking everywhere
    - clubs etc...

    we spent about $1000 last time we went down... but we went shopping as well.

    I use to live in New Orleans...well, Kenner. Anyway, haven't been in awhile. I'd go. Oh, and on the Cancun tip, I usually go 3x a year so I could arrange a very good deal for a group. May even spend less and have all inclusive...wouldn't mattter if under 21 too. Just a thought.

    If you let me know what the NO trip would end up costing (figure room, gas, alcohol, food, and oh yeah...alcohol) I can see what kind of price I can come up with. I know the resort managers at Costa Real and Gran Caribe Real....would just need how many rooms and if all would be departing from atlanta. I went in september last year for 4days/3nights for like $450....flight, all inclusive hotel (food and beverages, alcoholic and non). Once again, just a thought...not tryin to change the thread. NO is cool too.

    hey paul....if you guys still do the New Orleans thing....it's actually alot cheaper to just stay in Slidell,you can a rent a house on the lake or get a nice hotel room and it's really only a 20min ride to Bourbon. I usually head to New Orleans 3-4 times a year....2 for mardi gras and then the other two to visit family.

    just a thought for you, but it sounds like alot of fun, wish I could go.

    Seattle is somewhere you guys could go too, beautiful countryside and lots to do and see....and of course, the live music is great!
