    i saw a bumper sticker today, it had a confederate flag and it said "heritage, not hate"


    how is that possible? cause the confederacy was based partly on hate :confused:

    shit just because ur past is dark doesnt mean it isnt ur past

    still history... They dont tear out the pages in history books with the holocaust...
    Sure they dont flaunt it either, but its nothin to be ashamed of.... The confed flag isn't the same as lets say a swastika, It represents much more than "slavery" there were issues other than slavery causing the civil... go read a book

    thats like saying wearing cotton makes fun of black people. Sure some happened to pick cotton a while back, but shit that was the past mofo

    lol... this is kinda funny, but my wifes family(not immediate) are those SONS OF CONFEDERATE SOILDERS people... they are the ones you always see on tv waving the confederate flag preaching about GA heritage... lol alot are racist... i remember her grandfather having a discussion w/ me telling me i could join if i had some confederate blood in me

    every single civilazation in the history of the world has, used/bought/sold/traded slaves black jew or otherwise. so to put the "flag" with racism is foolish to do.

    The Civil War had "little" to do with the war. of course if you we're gov't educated you probally didn't hear that in school.
