It is a carburated engine but I am not sure of the size....with it saying Cobra on it it makes me think of a 427 but not 100% sure

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT
427 is a chevy motor..... its either a 302 or a 351Originally Posted by SkrrEuroSportGLI

i heard you talkin about it, but i dont think it was this one?
from the pic it looks like it is too small to be a 427, more like a 302 turbo'd. Maybe in either a focus or mustang maybe?![]()
Hopefully it's a 351 or better, or why bother unless it is in a Focus, Fiesta or Festiva. Could you imagine that thing in a Fiesta??? LOL
My other car is a UP-ARMOR HMMWV(Humvee)
w/ a MK-19 mounted on top

my guess is some kind of GT40 or an Ultima GTR
I was out of it yesterday. Actually don't remember most of the day :confused:Originally Posted by HiPSI
Upcoming feature, as in, maybe domestic support for IA? lol i know i know, that'll never happen, just a thought. maybe the import fad is dying down lol
it's gotta be rear engined since the exaust is coming up and backwards and there is a window in front of it...but yea it is waaaaaaaay to small to be a 427 cobra
are we changing the name to domestic atlanta.com?
Was that in an old Z car?
Im goin with a small block.
no remember we tried that and it last about a day....but i don't think paul would stray too far so it's prolly a domestic motor in an import...sorta like the rx7 with the ls1 in it in the car pictures section
MR2 or a truck?
scratch the Z idea
Do MR2's have a window where the engine is? I know my friends 88 mr2 didn't... I'm gonna be a dumbass and say it's a beetle...
BEETLE good call that does resemble a beetle...exaust set up would be right for a beetle too...
was that in that gt40 lookin thing?
Thank god someone is halfway smart around here.Originally Posted by collins
Of course it is a gt40 or some type of midengine sports car, I would assume GT40 by the valve covers and exhaust routing and the placement of the dist.

Umm... are you saying the picture he posted, looks ANYTHING similar to the motor in a Ford GT/GT40?Originally Posted by Big Baller

Beetle is a good call, i just tink the engine compartment is a little too small??
Eh, I've seen a 427 swap into a beetle, so it can be done.. it just usually comes into the cab a bit. I'm gonna say the motor is a 351.. the deck height looks a little taller than a 302.Originally Posted by tunerforlife
how big do ya think a beetle's engine bay is?
just, seems small, cause the car is so slow itself
427 shelby cobra
that's a 427 shelby cobra motor below
