    Talking MAN, TIMES HAVE CHANGED!!

I AM 25 AND MY GIRLFRIEND IS 20 AND WE WERE JUST LYING AROUND THE OTHER DAY TALKING ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING...AND THEN WE STARTED TALKING ABOUT THE INTERNET, AND I SAID THE FIRST TIME THAT I USED THE INTERNET WAS ABOUT 12-13 YEARS AGO, AND I WAS TELLIN HER ABOUT BACK THEN WHEN WE USED TO LOG ON, THERE WAS BARELY ANY WEBSITES TO GO TO? I REMEMBER BACK THEN WHEN YOUR INTERNET BROWSING WASNT FUN UNLESS U HAD AOL..EVENTHOUGH THERE IS A 5 YR. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US, SHE DOESNT REMEMBER THOSE DAYS, BY THE TIME SHE STARTED USING THE INTERNET, THEY ALREADY HAD ALL THOSE OTHER WEBSITES OUT..I THINK 1994 WAS THE FIRST TIME I SURFED THE INTERNET ON MY 2400 SPEED DIAL UP MODEM, AND AT THE TIME, IT SEEMED FAST!!!.ALSO, I WORK AT STATEFARM INSURANCE, AND ONE OF MY CLIENTS CAME IN WITH HER 17YR.OLD SON CAUSE THEY JUST BOUGHT A CAR FOR HIM, FIRST I WAS SHOCK TO SEE THAT PEOPLE BORN AS YOUNG AS 1990 ARE DRIVING NOW, THEN NEXT, I TOLD THE THE KID ABOUT MY FIRST CAR AND HOW LUCKY HE IS ABOUT GETTING A BRAND NEW ONE. WHILE I WAS TELLING HIM HOW CRAPPY MY FIRST CAR WAS AND HOW I HAD ROLL-UP WINDOWS, HE STOPS ME AND SAY.."WHAT ARE ROLL-UP WINDOWS?"..I WAS LIKE "WOW", AND I TOLD HIM IT WAS A FEATURE FOR OLDER PEOPLE THEY DONT MAKE ANYMORE..

DO ANY OF YOU OLDER PEEPS HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED??

Now cars can be started with a key, and electric starter. On my first car I had to crank it with a handle. Like this one

we used apple IIE's in middle school. i remember thinking they were crazy advanced while i played Oregon Trail 10 times a day with them.

my commodore had a 5.25 floppy drive (remember those?). i had snake loaded on the computer but all my other games i had to play off the disks.

Yeah we had the Apple II E and C at my middle school, Those were way ahead of thier time to us back then!! Yeah remember if you cut a small square at one of the corners of the floppy you could then make it a DOUBLE SIDED floppy disc.

Oregon Trail was the shit! Oh yeah, remember playing "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego"! Talking about "old school", I was around 5 years old when I started to play those games on the comp!
