I did it on a bridge one time...watching in my mirror as he was planted against the seat belt, both hands on the steering wheel, front end plowed and the ass end of the crown vic in the air...with a trail of smoke. i kept going the same 5 mph over the speedlimit and he just made u-turn as soon as he got to the first drive, lol.
I respect any officer that respects citizens. Have something to pull me over then they are required to do it, not follow or tailgate until they have a reason.
