If they come through the proper channels, absolutely they should get every right and privelage a natural born citizen has.

If they decide not to bother with it and live as an illegal - heck no. They broke the law of our country. You can't break into a car and say that you needed a radio and couldn't afford to buy one. You'd still get punished.

Unfortunately, the sad state of affairs is that the burocracy surrounding immigration is bullshit. They need to take a look at the system before putting new laws in effect. However, people coming from other countries have to deal with the same bullshit, it's not just a law specifically pointed at mexicans or people from latin countries. It just happens that I would think the majority of illegal aliens are from those countries, because most anyone else who wants to get to america has to take a plane.

However, my point is - do things the right way, according to the law of the country you want to live in, or don't expect to get any sort of benifit living in that country provides.
