    Default I was reading in the Business forum ( useless info)

    AT&T bought out Bellsouth for 67 Bill.

    There 1st project as the new Bellsouth Owners is to Drop the Cingular Name and bring back the AT&T name...

    layoff expected around 15k employees.

    I do know that home office will switch from Atlanta to Houston, TX. SE operations will continue to be headquartered in Atl. Later, QD.

    I 1st started using at&t in 93... so this will be weird to go back to seeing att on my bills.
    I switched to Cingular when They merge with At&t

    my mom was worried she would be layed off from bellsouth like she was from HP when they took over compaq. that was scary, she lost her job, the day after we bought a house, lol.

    this is gonna screw us all over tho. bellsouth has great customer service, from what I have heard and my mother says its kinda like a huge family business, great employer. at&t sucks at all human relations and keeping workers and consumers happy. when we had at&t wireless, they fucked us over.

    Well you've been with them sinc 1993, you know how the nghts used to start at 8? They never told my father that it would change to 9 and we got charged for all that time. My father renewed the contract over the phone so he couldn't have read it anywhere.

    I had AT&T then switched to Sprint after they merged with Cingular since Cingluar wanted twice as much a month for a comprable plan...to bad...I liked AT&T too, now im stuck with sprint
