ruiner, be careful if you are carrying on you, even with a permit, to these. Techically, it is a misdemeanor to carry at a "public gathering." Its up to the discretion of the judge what a "public gathering" is, but its a good bet that an officer is going to get excited if your carrying on your person at a huge event like this. I realize its not likely to get caught, but still.

"For the purpose of this Code section, "public gathering" shall include, but shall not be limited to, athletic or sporting events, churches or church functions, political rallies or functions, publicly owned or operated buildings, or establishments at which alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises." The one cop I saw out there last night seemed quite down on the whole crowd...I could imagine someone like that making an issue of it. There were a shitload of folks out there last night.
