    Default Hit And Run Driver Leaves Pedestrian For Dead - Brett where were you last nite??

    COBB COUNTY -- Police are searching for a hit and run driver who left a pedestrian for dead along a dark stretch of highway.

    The man in his 20s was hit and killed on I-575 at Chastain Road in Cobb County just before midnight.

    The victim died at the scene.

    "He was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound in the right lane and it does appear that it’s a Honda, dark in color," (probly green w/ marble stripes) said Officer Tom Lehaner of the Cobb County Police Department.

    There are no lights along that part of the highway.

    "The person who collided with this subject they know they struck a person out here on the interstate, yes they do," added Lehaner.

    Police are expected to release the name of the victim later today.
