    Default Home Made Remedies for Sore Throat?

    Anyone have any home made remedies for a sore throat? Mine has been hurting for about 3 days now and today is the worst. It really hurts to swallow. The earliest that I can see my doctor is tomorrow morning, so do you guys know anything that can help soothe the pain till then?

    Ice cream, or suck on ice! And drink some OJ! Works for me!

    Drinking hot lemon tea now, if that doesn't help I may try the spoonful of honey even though I hate it!! if not I'll pull out the shot of whiskey

    I tried a shot of jager one time, soothed it for a bit.

    Other than that, i'm gonan go with all the better suggestions on the thread.

    well remedy #1- Theraflu/Hot Lemon Tea = Didn't work. Still about the same pain.

    I drink hot tea with Rum and Honey. And gargling with salt water helps me.

    hope you stop deep throating ..
    but to cure it take some medicine ..
    honey - lemon - hot water ..
    ginseng tea ..
    5 shots of tequila with some lime or lemon ..
    does green things come up when you spit ?
    prolly rotting cum but to get rid of that ..
    drink something to wash it down ..
    hope you get better ..
