And there are several ways you canmake money off of it!

but that LITTLE fine is miniscule in comparison to the costs of housing a person in jail.
housing a person intails costs of:
building the jail
electricity
food
water
guards
maintenance
plumbing
beds
silverware
lawsuits
etc...
the list can go on

and thats just the jail, not to mention billions spent with catching these peopel

gross income = Millions in fines
expenses = Billions of dollars
profit = NONE!!! Negative!

The negative profit is what comes out of our tax dollars.

And bailbondsmen are not allowed in the equation. They are a separate entity that is just trying to get in where they fit in. They have nothing to do with any of this, as far as money goes.

If you wanna talk about the money they make, let's talk about the money drug dealers make. I guarantee you that more money is made in the drug industry than in the bail bonds industry

They are not allowed but some are!

And with bail bonding companies, if someone runs the bonding company has to pay the bond off, and I have seen my boss pay off $30,000.00 bonds before, so that is how they also make money!

And as far as drug dealers go, they probably do make more money!

I have seen alot of drugs dealers, and they have told "stories" so I know what you mean!

and by buying it off the streets, people are contributing to drug dealers pocket books. So you take the money away from them.. lower the crime rate associated with marijuana distribution and legalize it. not only will crime lesson but it would give a boost to the economy.. This is only my opinion..

not everyone has to smoke it because it is legal.. just like everyone doesnt drink.. but the point is that, with a substance like this.. where the side effects are less than cigarettes and alcohol ( both whcih are legal ) than why not fold and start taxing the shit!

I am a social smoker. I rarley go out and buy weed, and i always smoke with friends. its not on the regular, just about every other weekend. If i am going to just chill, i get blazed. If i am going to the club, i get blazed beforehand so i dont have to buy drinks lol

From my personal experiences, i say somking weed is alot less harmful to yourself, and others than being drunk. When i'm drunk i want to do stupid things, such as go out for a drive. Wen i'm high i have more control over my actions and body. In my case Weed > Alcohol. Thast why i dont drink, and the last time i somked was in october.

Hell I'm the only one around my age that I know that don't smoke. Well maybe 3 or 4 other people that I know don't smoke. But everyone else puff's away.

This is the same effect it has on me. I believe it's different for different people. It's really just a preference thing- you can't really say it's wrong or it's right. If you hate it, don't do it. If it works for you, smoke one. And if you've never tried it, then don't say a damn word because you really don't know what you're talking about.
When's the last time someone went home and beat their wife because they got REALLY stoned? When's the last time someone OD'd on some weed?

Ans as far as the gateway drug theory, thats a load of crap. If you want to do harder drugs, you're going to do them regardless of the weed or not. And addictive personality is inherent- you can't say weed made you do it. The only thing marijuana is a "gateway" to is some muthafuckin munchies :).

I smoked a little in college, but i didnt really ever enjoy it.

i have a weird personality, i like to be in control, and i like to know that i have a grip on certain situations. when i smoked weed, i had panic attacks, and i just wasnt into it. I did X a few times in college, and i never wanted to do it again.

I experimented, ill be honest. i never did any hard drugs, just those 2. I would much rather spend $20 on a 24 pack of beer then spend $20 on X. and i really didnt care for weed.

Nowadays, i have a drink occasionally, if i had a long day, but i enjoy my surroundings, and my friends/family much more sober than i ever did partying. im also more succesfull and a much more rounded person than i was "partying" in college. drugs just were never really did it for me. im much happier sober

i smoke bud its a good way to get let some stress out and it helps me sleep easier. theres nothing wrong with it unless u take it overboard. I never heard of people getting cancer by smoking herb.
Of course if ur a fucking pothead smoking all day every day u will come out aliittle slow and stuiped but every person makes there own choices in life.
